Executive Director Announcement
Dear CORD Community,
On behalf of the CORD Board of Directors, it is with great pleasure that I announce that Anniekay Erby, MBA CAE, has been appointed CORD’s Executive Director.
Ms. Erby brings a wealth of experience in leadership on an executive level. She has served as the Executive Director for several organizations, most recently the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. Ms. Erby is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), with an MBA in Marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management in Wisconsin and a BA in Communications from Jackson State University in Mississippi. She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and an alumni of the ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program. She has served in various volunteer roles for ASAE and the Association Forum of Chicago.
We are thrilled to have Ms. Erby join CORD’s leadership team. In her new role as Executive Director, she will work closely with our committed Board of Directors, staff, membership, and community partners, to continue to execute our mission in academic emergency medicine. Ms. Erby joins CORD just as we enter a rigorous strategic planning process designed to bring the organization into its next chapter as we work to fulfill our goals and the needs of our membership. She will continue to enhance the operational strength of the organization to ensure the highest quality of product delivery. With her strong background in executive management, Ms. Erby is uniquely positioned to ensure programmatic excellence.
The Board of Directors is deeply committed to working with Ms. Erby to ensure her successful and visionary leadership as CORD enters its next phase. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Anniekay Erby to her new role.
