Mission Statement

The Guidelines Committee Oversees the selection process, writing and publication of the EMARC guideline activities. This committee supervises the creation of new guidelines on topics using the skills and the expertise of the EMARC community. The Committee ensures all guidelines are up to date by revising already published guidelines.

Current Projects:

1. Revise EMARC elected position guidelines and membership guidelines

2. Standard Job title to be recognized as a specialty and by ACGME

3. Standard guidelines for job tasks (best practices)

4. Professional development requirements/recommendations for coordinators to be recognized by specialty and ACGME

5. Record retention guidelines/recommendations
