Overarching goal:  Didactics & workshops to help redefine and reaffirm DEI in our current climate and share strategies to continue advancing DEI in our communities

Objectives:  By the end of this virtual conference, participants will be able to: 

  1. Utilize evidence-based practices to promote DEI in graduate medical education
  2. Understand the current climate surrounding DEI in national politics and medical education
  3. Develop a strategy for navigating barriers to advancement of DEI initiatives
  4. Identify and implement physical and virtual spaces that reflect an inclusive environment for learners
  5. Create actionable steps to move towards reflecting their program’s commitment to belonging and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
