Gloria Kuhn Award for Outstanding Mentorship and Allyship in Medical Education

In honor of Dr. Gloria Kuhn’s profound effect in Emergency Medical Education, the CORD Board of Directors would like to present the Gloria Kuhn Award for Outstanding Mentorship and Allyship in Emergency Medical Education.

This award will be given in recognition to one CORD senior faculty member for demonstrating exceptional mentorship and allyship in Emergency Medical Education.

Nominees should have the following qualifications:

  • Current CORD membership
  • A senior faculty member (at least 7 years of experience in EM educational leadership).
  • Has a proven record of providing guidance, support and contributing to building a strong foundation of community within Emergency Medicine. 

Nominations must include:

  • Letter of nomination explaining why the nominee should receive the award. 
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Photo of Nominee

This award includes one CORD Academic Assembly registration and a plaque which will be presented during the Academic Assembly to emphasize the importance of those physicians who work towards excellence in the emergency medical education community.
