The Sports Medicine Toolkit consists of a series of modules, videos and case presentations. They are curated and peer-reviewed in order to offer a “plug and play” sports medicine curriculum for emergency medicine residency programs. Topics have been selected by expert review of previously published sports medicine curriculum models. Content is focused on but not limited to MSK disorders, emergency management, patient education, ultrasound interpretation, physical examination and procedural skills. Each module is self-contained and offers pre-reading supplements, educational content (slideshow, media, case studies etc.), instructor guides and summary handouts for distribution after teaching sessions.
